What is the best way to use your laptop battery?

I just bought a new laptop, an ideapad y550. So I am wondering what the best way to use the batter is. I have heard mixed things about the subject. I have heard to let your battery run all the way down the charge it all the way up. I have heard to plug it in as often as possible. I have heard that once the battery is fully charged you should unplug it right away, and things like you should take the battery out when its plugged in. So I am really not sure what to think. Any advice?

How come the last 2 of my laptop battery chargers stopped working?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop and my last charger I had stopped charging, but other peoples chargers still work on my computer. I bought a new replacement charger, and after about a month, this charger died too. I have multiple batteries so I don’t think it’s the battery. What should I do to prevent this from continuing?

Best way to use a laptop battery and charger?

I bought a new laptop recently and I have a question about the battery vs. charger.

I leave my laptop on all the time or in hibernation. When the battery is fully charged but I still want to leave my computer on, should I leave it plugged in or use the battery? If I use the battery, all day I am rotating battery and charging and it gets to be a hassle.
